SELFPROOF 0207 - MOMENT ZERO
It
cannot be emphasised strongly enough that Moment Zero and the events
immediately thereafter, as described in this chapter, did not happen.
If the Universe is currently expanding, there must have been a
moment when that expansion began but the way that event is described in
this chapter is not the way it really was.
The arguments
of this chapter are a convenience. They are here to kickstart this
aspect of the Template. That they evolve satisfactorily into the
Universe of today doesn't mean they are right, merely that they are
doing their job.
In practice, the beginning of the Universe's
current expansion phase is likely to have been a more complex
event, not least because it is difficult to conceive of any sensible
way that all the teels in the Universe could have come together to the
limits of their rejectivity with all their energy as kineticenergy. Had
they done so they would have reacted exactly as described here but
that misses the point. Getting the teels into that condition is the
problem.
The
later chapters of the Malta Cosmology
Template provide some strong hints as to what really
happened. If those hints prove fruitful, the cataclysm that was
the beginning of the current expansion phase of the Universe had
its roots in physics that are already familiar to us and which have
been empirically tested many times and in many ways.
