SELFPROOF 0120 - RELIGIONCURRENT PARADIGM
- RELIGION:
A set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of
the Universe, especially when considered as the creation of a
superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual
observances, often containing a moral code governing the conduct of
human affairs. (dictionary.com - 16 Dec 2012)
MALTA TEMPLATE
- The Malta Template deals with matter, energy, motion, and force in the Universe.
- Its compilation adheres strictly to the Bedrock Templature methodology. This means that:
- its structure is evolutionary.
- it accommodates every relevant, empirically proved, fact in the physics cannon.
- it
uses the bare minimum of assumptions, and only then after establishing
(and dismissing with good reason) all alternate assumptions.
- it excludes all multigenerational assumptions.
- it excludes all conjectures, fancies, and unsubstantiated bright ideas.
- it selfproves.
- The Malta Template is not at the cutting edge of physics research and nor
is it intended to be. It deals with facts that have already been
established and does not speculate anew. That it organises its facts in
a way that is different from the norm, and more rigorous than the norm,
is a temporary situation that will change as the use of the Bedrock
Templature methodology becomes more widespread.
COMMENTARY
The Malta Template deduces that the present phase of the lifetime of the
Universe had a beginning. Because the Template is evolutionary in
structure, this means that it must start as near to that beginning as
it can. Thereafter it evolves from the fundamentals laid down in the
first chapter into a Universe that is exactly as is the one we see
about us today. It does so using the facts that have been thus far
empirically proved while requiring no intervention from creator beings,
divine or otherwise.
Nevertheless, there is some room in
the first chapter for religious speculation because, in order to
kickstart the Template, it was necessary to make two arguments that are
not rooted in facts. The arguments are logical, and they selfprove
sufficiently well to show that they are "within the ball park" but they
are still without a deep factual foundation and until they have been
empirically shown to be true the door will always be open for some form
of supernatural interpretation by those inclined to that sort of
interpretation. The two arguments are:
The graviton is necessary to kickstart the Template but its existence provokes
questions that are currently unanswerable: what are they; what
are they made of; where did they come from; why do they have the
properties they have?
Space
is also necessary to kickstart the Template and it also provokes
currently unanswerable questions: space is nothingness but it has
"area" - is that area finite or infinite; is the area eternal or did it
have a beginning; if it had a beginning what was there before; will
this area have an ending and if it does what will be here afterwards;
the Universe is within this area of space but is this the only Universe
or are there more of them?
If a person chooses to claim that gravitons and space owe their existence to creator beings, there is
currently no evidence proving that person either wrong
or right.
