SELFPROOF 0116 - SPACETIME

CURRENT PARADIGM
MALTA TEMPLATE
  • 0105-01:   That the Universe consists of space and gravitons.
  • 0105-02:   That space has no properties independent of the properties of the gravitons within it.
  • 0105-03:   That space has property measures which are the sum of the property measures of the gravitons and gravitonpairs within it.
  • 0106-01:   That every graviton is subject to the passage of time.
  • 0106-02:   That the Universe is subject to the passage of time because it is made out of gravitons.
COMMENTARY

On the matter of spacetime, the Current Paradigm and the Malta Template appear to be fundamentally different.
  • In the Current Paradigm, the space and time model is a relativistic four-dimensional continuum.
  • In the Malta Template , the space and time model is Euclidean and not a four-dimensional continuum.
The Malta Template is an "evolutionary" model that is only allowed "to play the hand it has". Its hand consists of the known facts, combined with the bare minimum of assumptions. No matter how it is played, the hand doesn't produce a four-dimensional spacetime continuum. Nor would the use of any of the allowable alternate assumptions do so. And, tellingly, the hand evolves naturally into the Universe we see about us today without needing a four-dimensional spacetime continuum.

All that said, the two models are reconcilable. The key lies in the way the two models are compiled. The Malta Template is an "evolutionary" construct and the Current Paradigm is "devolutionary" one. Being devolutionary, the Current Paradigm interprets what it can "see" as best it can - and the smallest it can currently see are the elementary fermions. It cannot see below the fermions to the level of gravitons. Accepting that gravitons, or something like them, surround blackholes in prodigious numbers allows many of today's cosmological conundrums to be explained. Especially, they allow the observed spacetime phenomena to be explained with conventional Newtonian physics.
