Part 0106 - Time

ARGUMENT  0106-02

PRECEDENTS
  • 0105-01:   That the Universe consists of space and gravitons.
  • 0105-02:   That space has no properties independent of the gravitons within it.
  • 0106-01:   That every graviton is subject to the passage of time but that time can only be measured by reference to events.
PARAMETERS
  • Consider that every graviton is subject to the passage of time.
  • Consider that the Universe consists of gravitons.
  • Consider that the passage of time for a graviton (and for an object made of gravitons) can only be measured by reference to events.
REASONING
  • Because the passage of time is measured by reference to events, events that take place within the Universe enable the passage of time for the Universe to be measured.
CONCLUSION
  • That the Universe is subject to the passage of time but the passage of that time can only be measured by reference to events.
