In
the
Current Paradigm, the Universe began expanding at
Moment Zero. Also
at Moment Zero, the rate of that expansion began to decelerate. The
deceleration continued for approximately 8 billion years, at which
point the deceleration became acceleration. The expansion has been
accelerating ever since, a period estimated to be around 5 billion
years.
The
Malta Template agrees with the table of events. It
has nothing to say, however, on the timing of these events. These are
established by others as the current "best estimates". The Malta
Template will use the current best estimates until definitive timings
are established.
